The IT Contract Manager is part of the IT Purchasing team and will report into the IT Purchasing Senior Manager.  This individual will serve as a liaison between the Lennar Corporation and the varying legal teams of our suppliers. Detail-oriented Contracts Management leader with expertise in quoting, sourcing, and negotiating contracts for supplier prices and terms for domestic and global supplier. Track record of aggressively challenging and improving vendor pricing, delivery and payment terms. Contract Manager will work closely with the IT Executive team in establishing agreements that reflect the best interests of the company. 


  • Reviews documentation and legal draft of contracts/agreements, ensuring contract/agreement requirements are met, and works directly with IT Purchasing Manager and key stakeholders to ensure contract/agreement language and requirements are appropriate and complies with Lennar Corporation policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates work with various departments and serves as a liaison between Lennar Corporation and vendors to oversee the intake, review and finalization of all IT contracts that bind the corporation.
  • Develop and maintain contracts and systems to ensure timely renegotiation and consistency of language/terms in order to provide maximum legal coverage and cost savings.
  • Provides guidance to technical personnel involved in the development of the statement of work or data requirements.
  • Formulates the contracting approach to be taken that will best satisfy the requirement.
  • Monitors supplier performance in relation to the completion schedule required by the contract, insuring timely submission of technical progress reports.
  • Coordinates review of issues list with management and key stakeholders. 
  • Negotiate all required language changes and review final documents to ensure all changes are appropriately made.
  • Prepare correspondence necessary to accomplish the finalization of contracts being processed.
  • Coordinate full and final execution of all contract documents, maintain Master Contract Filing system, administration and maintenance of the Contract Management Database, to include; monitoring, follow-up and resolution of all renewal notifications; scan and add all finalized contracts, amendments and insurance certificates to the database.
  • Monitors Contracts Administration e-mail and responds to customer inquiries in a professional, courteous and prompt manner no later than one business day after receipt of inquiry.
  • Prepare training manuals and training documentation for on-going contracts training, ensuring that manuals are updated appropriately with the newest version of procedures.

  • Assists with contract negotiations
  • Develops pricing models and cost strategies based upon contract terms and conditions
  • Monitors current status of assigned contracts
  • Disseminates information throughout the company regarding status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination
  • Assists division and field personnel in contract administration functions
  • Reviews all new proposals/solicitations for unique/unusual requirements
  • Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specification
  • Develops or assists in developing cost/price proposals in response to customer requirements
  • Guides site personnel in preparation for negotiating changes and modifications
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years of IT purchasing experience preferred
  • 5-7+ years of contract management experience
  • Must have experience working with large technology partners and VARs such as CDW, Cisco, IBM, Insight, Oracle, Microsoft and VMWare.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 10+ years of combined business, IT and/or purchasing experience.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
