Overview

The HR Administrator will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient; a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, as well as attention to detail, are equally required. This person will use a high level of creativity and analytical skills to complete tasks within the department. The HR Administrator would ideally be able to work a full-time schedule and continue to work after the summer.



Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and follow through on deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Research and contribute out of the box solutions.
  • Assist the department in carrying out various Human Resources programs, procedures, and tasks for all company employees.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
  • Appropriately process paperwork throughout the employment life cycle and notify appropriate parties
  • Responsible for creating engaging and informative monthly newsletter for Corporate Associates
  • Perform other HR administrative duties and responsibilities.
  • Assist with HR reporting requests as necessary
  • Processing paperwork throughout the employee lifecycle as necessary


Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma required.
  • Currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, HR, or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in administering HR programs or in an HR support role preferred
  • Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the HR Coordinator to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

 

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Advanced proficiency in MS office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be well organized, flexible and have good organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and projects
  • Must be able to think critically and independently
  • Must operate with the highest level of integrity and maintain confidentiality
