Job Description



Provide assistance and coordination to maintain and track land opportunities, prepare feasibility books, interface with escrow and title companies, brokers, attorneys and various consultants. Ability to handle priorities under pressure.





  • Create and maintain land acquisition files.
  • Monitor and maintain deposit payments and land acquisition closing schedule
  • Preparation, maintenance and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly land acquisition reports as required.
  • Assist in coordination and communication with escrow companies, brokers, legal counsel, and others in the acquisition efforts.
  • Maintain the Land Management System for all Division acquisistion transactions.
  • Assemble, format, organize and distribute feasibility folders.
  • Prepare collateral material (aerial photos, maps, exhibits, etc.)
  • Coordinate with escrow and title companies through new acquisitions.
  • Coordinate the preparation and execution of land acquisistion closing documents.
  • Distribute land acquisition closing packages to other departments.
  • File and maintain escrow and title documents.
  • Assist in preparation of internal feasibility books.
  • Provide support to department managers.
  • Assist in problem solving all escrow tracking and closing issues between parties.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.



  • One (1) – Four (4) years of experience in land acquisition, escrow and/or administrative positions with residential or land development firms or consulting firms serving real estate industry clients
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Current Notary Public or willingness to become Notary Public
  • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Must possess a professional attitude to represent company in positive manner
  • Requires the ability to work while functioning under the pressure of problem solving and time sensitive deadlines   
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Follow directions from a supervisor
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • Accept constructive feedback
  • Team player


This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing twenty-five 25 pounds or less.  Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard and calculator.
