Job Description


Primary role will be to support the Land Acquisitions and Development team in the administration of contracts and closing coordination within the Land Department.


  • Assist the Land Department in day to day administrative activities
  • Log all contracts
  • Establish critical dates
  • Track dates to ensure conformance with contracts
  • Initiate relevant action to request additional Earnest Money, Option payments, Notice of Suitability, Notice to Proceed
  • Manage contract amendments
  • Coordinate contract activities;
    • Receipt, review and objections of Title Commitment
    • Coordination of Survey review
  • Closing coordination
    • Obtain Proforma settlement statement and confirm accuracy
    • Coordinate prepartion of closing documents
    • Coordinate with seller for closing
  • Additional contract management duties
  • Work with various systems to include BuildPro and Metaviewer



  • High school diploma (College or Business school desirable)
  • Previous paralegal and/or equivalent background in previous contract administration
  • Familiar with Real Estate
  • Typing 60-70 words per minute
  • Excellent written, oral, organizational and math skills
  • Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner
  • Skilled in Word for Windows and Excel, JD Edwards systems experience preferred
