Overview

Primary role will be to support the Land Acquisitions and Development personnel in the administration of the entitlement and development processes within the Land Department. The Land Coordinator works directly with the VP Land, Acquisition Managers, Community Development Managers and Controller as a part of the land department to be the primary contact with the land development trade partners including initial set up, preparing and distributing work agreements and will become the Land Build Pro point person for trades with invoice and payment inquiries.  In addition, the Land Coordinator will oversee over 20 HOA’s including preparing annual budgets with the management companies, approving developer contribution requests and reviewing all homeowner architectural requests.  



Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling land development contracts and distributing them to trade partners for execution as well as obtaining internal execution and retention of fully executed contracts.
  • Responsible for coordinating new Trade Partner setup including Master Trade Partner Agreements, insurance compliance and payment setup.
  • Provide administrative support to new trade partner(s) with JD Edwards set-up
  • Serve as the Division’s Land Build Pro resource including, but not limited to: entering completed master trade partner agreement data into JD Edwards, validating Land Build Pro upload, and assisting the land department users.
  • Serve as the land development trades Land Build Pro resource including, but not limited to: coordinating new vendor enrollment, new vendor training, and assisting current trade partner with their questions
  • Maintain and effectively communicate detailed quarterly review of over 20 HOA budgets. Responsible for communicating with HOA management companies and preparing HOA deficit funding requests when applicable
  • Responsible for reviewing all homeowner architectural requests processed through the HOA’s controlled by Lennar for compliance with the community Covenants and Restrictions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience supporting property management, land acquisition, land development and/or homebuilding
  • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record required
  • Valid auto insurance coverage required
  • Computer expertise, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis and data management software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Detailed oriented, work well under pressure, capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines
  • Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner
  • Ability to be flexible, a team player and interface professionally with all levels of our stakeholders
  • Must have excellent collaborative skills
  • Efficient time management and prioritization capabilities
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must be a problem-solver able to deal with complex situations.
  • Must exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
