Job Description

This position will be focused on the land development process from start to finish. Will be working as part of a team and learning from professionals in the industry.

1. Work with experienced associates in the development of communities from budgeting to final acceptance from the municipality.
2. Assist in budgeting and the bidding process for the land development managers.
3. Work in the field which may include working with trade partners on Grading, sewer, water, dry utilities, concrete, paving and landscape.
4. Potentially work with municipalities to further the development process.
5. Learn to evaluate the quality of development work to meet municipal and Lennar standards.
6. Learn to work as part of a team.
7. Gain exposure to a large corporate culture.
8. Perform community clean up items as needed for municipal walk-throughs
9. Perform all other duties as assigned.Ability to be self-disciplined while sometimes working from home

• Must be currently attending a college or university preferably in a construction management program
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials, equipment and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
