The IT Service Desk Lead may maintain and support the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems. This role may require the incumbent to administer, install, and troubleshoot a variety of operating systems which may include system maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance. May coach less senior team members and shares ideas for improvement with leadership.


  • Maintains smooth operation of routed and switched network infrastructure, servers and end-user workstations.
  • Organize, install, and support an organization's computer systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products
  • Perform capacity planning for server infrastructure
  • Make recommendations to enhance processes, policies and procedures related to systems functioning and performance
  • Design, install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and other infrastructure, software, and hardware components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, operating system, and other infrastructure problems
  • Maintain a secure systems environment
  • Stay up-to-date on servers, operating systems, and related technology
  • Server as a technical resource for infrastructure initiatives


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certification required

This is a position which requires frequent walking, standing and climbing of stairs in/around homes, models and properties. Must also have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
