Job Description


The Marketing Manager will work with the Division President and Director of Sales to create, coordinate and execute the division’s marketing research and strategy. Focusing on all advertising related media inclusive of digital, traffic generation, collaterals, promotional events, and public relations activities. #CB


  • Lead, coach, mentor and manage marketing team to ensure top performance
  • Manage the ad agency and marketing trade partners for all divisional marketing needs both print and digital
  • Work in conjunction with Division leaders to ensure communities are marketed appropriately and effectively
  • Create and manage the division’s marketing strategy, while identifying efficient and effective solutions
  • Formulate the Marketing and Advertising Budget for the division in conjunction with the Division Controller and President
  • Work closely with designers in staging model homes in the division’s communities
  • Manage all Public Relations and press releases for the division  
  • Proactively complete market analyses to best understand the market and assist in determining best products and price points for the division
  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to adjust market strategies to remain competitive with the market
  • Responsible for coordinating special projects to communicate with all associates and builder partners via newsletters, training and/or orientation manuals
  • Coordinate all Division events for associates, builder partners and charity.
  • Monitor the all advertising/marketing efforts to drive adequate traffic to the communities to meet the Division quotas and adjust as needed to ensure positive results.
  • Create all collateral material to include floorplans, renderings, standard feature lists, about the area points of interest, site plan display, dare to compare, clubhouse inserts, and price sheets.
  • Assist the Division President and Director of Sales in the evolution of home plans for new product development, development of standard features and amenities of new products
  • Oversee maintenance of the database for direct mail campaigns on a continuing basis
  • Maintain the library of photographs to be archived and utilized for marketing each community within the division.  Provide creative direction to the photographer for images to be captured and virtual tours as needed.   
  • Initiate projects to increase J.D. Power scores for the division
  • Assist the Division with resolving issues associated with meeting the closing and sales quotas
  • Coordinate application for all Division Awards
  • Coordinate, execute and attend a variety of functions including community openings, community events, and realtor events in conjunction with NHC/DOS.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude, deal effectively with difficult situations and maintain objectivity with homeowners, fellow associates, and in all public relations


  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred or combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Homebuilding marketing experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager or director in marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Microsoft Office Suite and marketing platforms
  • Requires resourcefulness, patience and clarity and strong management and motivational skills
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record, and valid auto insurance coverage
