Job Description


The NOC Administrator is responsible for monitoring, performance analysis, system uptime and reporting for the Lennar infrastructure environment. The NOC Administrator will work as a member of our 24x7 NOC team that will support networking devices, servers, applications, voice infrastructure, cloud components, websites, and an expanding list of other systems/services. Assist in coordination of incidents at all severity levels, troubleshooting and working to resolution in a timely manner.


  • Responsible for monitoring and supporting Lennar’s infrastructure environment.
  • Execute and coordinate on-call escalations for 24x7x365 support of the infrastructure environment. 
  • Manage escalations to management and other teams in the event of any performance degradation or production outages.
  • Execute daily operational checklist to ensure optimal availability and performance.
  • Manage incidents associated to major production issues.
  • Keep business teams updated with consistent and appropriate communications in the event of major incidents or outages.
  • Establish, configure, and add to monitoring any systems or services, based on tasks or requests from other infrastructure teams.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate monitoring based on adds, moves and changes to the production environment.
  • Maintain and follow NOC Standard Operating Procedures.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of related experience in the technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking technologies.
  • Strong understanding of SNMP and WMI monitoring protocols.
  • Experience diagnosing LAN, WAN, VPN, and MPLS issues.
  • Experience diagnosing issues related to VMWare, Azure, Windows 2012 (and above) servers.

Additional Skills:

  • Obtain CCNA and/or MCSA certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow (ITSM) or similar systems.
  • Experience using and administering network monitoring systems like SolarWinds Orion or similar.
  • Experience troubleshooting Cisco Meraki platform devices.
  • Excellent analysis, problem determination, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise technology.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to emerging technologies.
  • Personal characteristics necessary for the position are teamwork, exceptional written and communication skills, integrity.
  • Strong understanding of system critical KPI's and SLA’s.
  • Position requires reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Network Operations Center (NOC) Administrator to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
