Overview

The Lennar Product Owner drives the product strategy and delivery. Product Owner will be responsible for understanding and executing the strategic direction of the portfolio that is being supported. The Product Owner will be responsible for translating that direction into product roadmaps, user stories, product specification to name a few. This role is responsible for collaborating with various business, technology and operations team members and leaders to help collect and analyze business requirements and outcomes to focus product strategy and direction within Lennar.

This particular role will be supporting a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM product that has been rolled-out companywide to all Land Acquisition teams. The Product Owner would be joining an already established Scrum Team and must be able to thrive in an Agile environment.  



Responsibilities

  • Product Owner will advocate for the Customer
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Defines, develops and manages product vision, strategies and roadmaps
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Assist in defining, measuring and monitoring product (KPI) performance and use as input into product roadmap definition
  • Evaluates need for new or changed business / product capabilities to respond to changing and competitive environment
  • Drives scoping, requirements definition, business case development and priority setting for initiatives in assigned area
  • Leverages an uncompromised approach to change management as it effects people, process and adoption of technology
  • Oversees product success, end to end (market assessment through product implementation and support); defines quality and control objectives, critical success factors and measures compliance and KPIs
  • Leads complex product / service delivery efforts
  • Sets analysis, requirements definition and change management direction / standards within assigned area; guides others
  • Deliver business value by working closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Prioritizes Product Backlog and provides Definition of Done.
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Conducts market, competitor, and industry research and assesses the business value and performance of solutions against capability needs
  • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
  • Recognized role model; mentors others across teams
  • Influences improvements of complex business and IT processes to enhance company performance
  • Leads product planning processes, initiatives and teams
  • Understands interdependencies and constraints across teams; guides cross team collaboration / prioritization

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Advanced expertise across multiple business areas / solutions
  • Evaluates need for new or changed business / product capabilities to respond to changing and competitive environment
  • Conducts market research and assesses the business value and performance of solutions against capability needs
  • Develops and manages product vision, strategies and roadmaps
  • Drives scoping, requirements definition, business case development and priority setting for initiatives in assigned area

Education and Experience

  • 10+ years
  • Master’s degree preferred or multiple certifications
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

10-20% Travel is Required
