Job Description



Perform clerical duties and administrative support to Project Managers and Projects.



  1. Assist Project Managers on various tasks including permits, permit tracking, field deliveries
  2. ordering & reviewing plot plans
  3. traveling to various City offices
  4. creating various tracking sheets such as home design & construction and permit tracking
  5. Order & exonerate bonds
  6. Budget tracking and research
  7. Vender set ups, check requests
  8. Filing & project organizational tasks, such as scanning, filing, maintaining up dated files by phase
  9. Information distribution to internal and external teams
  10. Ability to juggle multiple demands
  11. Perform all other duties as assigned

In addition to the above each employee will be required to cross train for position(s) within the division organizational structure as required by the Division President.

  • Three (3) years administrative experience, preferably with a homebuilder
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Typing 50-80 wpm
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), JDE and Access a bonus, but not a requirement for hire
  • Notary or willingness to become one
  • Strong grammatical and spelling proficiency and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and make accurate decisions
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Follow directions from a supervisor
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Accept constructive feedback



This is primarily an office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Significant periods of external travel requiring efficient independent time management. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.  May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
