The ROC Operations Manager is responsible to supervise and support the Starts Assistants, Purchasing Coordinators and Purchasing Assistants daily duties. The ROC Operations Manager must be familiar with and able to perform the daily activities of the Starts, Purchasing Coordinators and Purchasing Assistants. The ROC Operations Manager is responsible for scheduling, delegating, and monitoring the workload of the Team Associates.  The responsibility of this position includes hiring, performance counseling and performance evaluations for these positions. The most important task for this position is keeping the regional home start’s even flow while ensuring all corporate governance is followed. #CB


  • Oversee the Starts and Change Orders process for the designated region
  • Supervise and support Starts Assistants and Coordinators to collect all the required information to complete the Divisions Starts in a timely manner and in compliance with Lennar policies
  • Supervise and support the Purchasing Coordinators and Purchasing Assistants as the primary point of contact for the Divisions at the ROC
  • Monitor the regular basis reports per PCs and PAs, like Month End
  • Ensure compliance to Regional and National Purchasing Policies and Procedures including, but not limited to Schedule Bs and LTC Program
  • Monitor workloads as necessary
  • Monitor the daily/weekly/monthly activities of the Purchasing and Starts to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of work going out of the ROC
  • Keep updated the Purchasing Manual including the most efficient Purchasing Policies and Procedures
  • Monitor other duties as assigned by Supervisor


Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Computer literate with the ability to work with JD Edwards, Windows, Excel and Word
  • 2 years office experience
  • Professionally perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines
  • Good writing and organization skills
  • Possess strong work ethic, integrity and loyalty
  • Team player with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Proven team leader with the ability to earn respect and motivate team members
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office.  Also requires the ability to read plans, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds.  Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator.  Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.  Standing is required for filing and copying.
