Job Description


The purpose of this position is to provide technical support and customer service to Lennar employees to enhance productivity in the operation of IS computer technology.  The telephone technical support tasks for this position include call handling, issue identification, logging and tracking, resolution, and escalation, as appropriate, to IS technical areas. This position documents issues and solutions and records all activity and communications regarding issue calls. The position performs various Jr Help Desk operational tasks during non-telephone time.


  • Serves as a single point of contact for communicating issues or requesting IS service
  • Provides a service-oriented experience to the customer which keeps the customer informed throughout the contact
  • Serves as the customer’s advocate in ensuring that the proper IS department is notified and responds according to respective Documents of Understanding
  • Utilize general organization skills to manage multiple open calls, call backs from Escalation Partners, and follow-up with customers.
  • Works schedule based on available shifts


Technical Skills:

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to perform basic requests (structured work assignments) using defined procedures to to install or configure systems
  • Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems; receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
  • Begins to demonstrate an understanding of IT strategies
  • Collaborates with experienced associates to learn technologies in assigned area
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge and interest of IT infrastructure technologies throughout assigned area
  • Assists in the day to day maintenance and support of assigned IT technologies

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Related experience is a plus
  • Bachelors degree or IT certifications preferred

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
