The Contract Manager is responsible for supervising contracts department. This includes ensuring compliance of process and procedure for various legal, accounting and business purposes.


  • Supervising, training, and assessment of department associate productivity and compliance to department policies and procedures
  • Interact with division to resolve any contracting related issues
  • Ensure contracting department is meeting contract deadlines and schedules
  • Work with Director of Development in preparation of bids
  • Responsible for proper recording and inventory of all outstanding contracts
  • Gather data, monitor and manage contract status, summaries and reports. Track contract status from initiation to execution. Audit contract compliance throughout Land department
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the contracts, files and any supporting documentation regarding work performed
  • Assist contracts associates as needed (ROC and division purchasing)
  • Special projects as assigned by division
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


  • Minimum 8 years of experience in contracts administration and/or Land Development required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Ability to motivate and direct workers
  • Interact well with other associates
  • Multiple language skills/proficiency a plus
  • Possess positive and professional attitude and represent company in a positive manner
  • Ability to listen effectively and follow directions
  • Ability to analyze problems, determine solutions and produce the desired outcome

Requires the ability to operate office equipment (e.g. personal computer, fax machine, copier, etc.), climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry materials and supplies weighing 35 pounds or less.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.  Position requires periods of phone work at a desk, utilizing a keyboard and monitor.
