Job Description

Overview

Manage and supervise team of Internet Sales Consultants who generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline through the use of internet-generated leads. Accountable for assuring that Internet Sales Consultants are equipped to provide a “Tickled, Delighted, Happy” experience for all internet generated customer traffic.



Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, instruction and guidance to the digital sales team for purpose of achieving company and department goals
  • Create and implement Execute Digital Platform training for new sales members. Ensure that the internet team morale remains high and that the team is motivated to perform
  • Create a cooperative environment to achieve team objectives and individual goals
  • Monitor team participation and individual daily activity and ensure work load is balanced between team members, allocating and reallocating work as necessary
  • Conduct or take active leadership role in sales meetings involving all sales staff
  • Monitor market trends and competition and proactively address them with Internet Sales team members
  • Monitor and manage team members’ schedules
  • Assist the Director and/or Vice President with input regarding advertising and promotional needs, and pricing recommendations based on deep industry expertise and advanced market knowledge and analysis
  • Perform all other duties as assigned



Qualifications

  • Three (3) – five (5) years experience in the homebuilding industry
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current and active real estate license
  • Must have a valid driver’s License, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
  • May require daily travel to train and coach sales staff to achieve maximum sales and ensure that Division Digital Platform goals are met
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Effective writing skills
  • Must have extensive internet exposure and/or internet customer experience in order to parlay this prior experience into a leadership role
  •  Escrow and mortgage financing a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to self-manage activities with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to arrive early and work late if/when necessary
  • Committed to the development of sales and internet skills of the Internet Sales Consultant team under Internet Sales Manager’s supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

This can often be an active position; associate must be willing to drive customers to various communities to demonstrate homes and home sites in all weather conditions. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and telephone equipment, extensive phone and computer communication with customers is required. Must be able to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 25 pounds
