Job Description

The ideal candidate will work for the Marketing Director of busy department and serve as administrative assistant. Candidate should exhibit high ethical standards and be able to respect and keep sensitive information/documents confidential, he/she should have excellent verbal and written communication skills (Spanish a plus) and have the ability to take initiatives and follow direction. Candidate should be able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities, be able to independently know when to follow up on jobs with building partners and other associates. This position is fast paced therefore multi-tasking will be required in order to meet personal deadlines, and/or deadlines of the Marketing Director. The desire to learn and being part of a dynamic marketing department will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.


• Assist Director of Marketing with all administrative needs to include scheduling and confirming meetings & appointments, travel, create expense reports, answer phones, listen to voice mails, email and correspondence review, etc.

• Printing, Filing, and Organizing of weekly reports, agendas, meeting notes, invoices, contracts, etc. will be required on a daily basis

• Responsible for all events under the direction of the Marketing Director (obtaining proposals, coordination of required permits, vendor selection, processing of check requests, new vendor set up, etc.)

• Responsible for organizing and processing departmental invoices

• Responsible for printing of materials for Welcome Home Centers and Division as needed

• Work with building partners on a regular basis

• Update monthly dept. budgets

Job Requirements

Requirements for Marketing Coordinator

  • Valid Florida Drivers License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Possess strong work ethic, integrity and loyalty
  • Team player with ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day on occasion and weekends/nights as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Finger dexterity sufficient to operate computer keyboard and telephone equipment
