This role will report the Chief Human Resources Officer and will execute the Inclusion, Diversity & Equality strategy for The Lennar Corporation family of companies. With a focus on inclusivity and diversity that reflect the communities we build in, the Sr. Director will deliver the mission to attract, retain and grow a diverse talent pool to fuel our competitive growth. This role is responsible for leadership and management of: all inclusion and diversity programs and initiatives, diversity metrics, insights, surveys, internal and external customer consultation, building I&D capability both internally and with Trade Partners as well as the inclusion and diversity culture and communications for all associates, people leaders, executives, and board of directors.

This role consults with Sr. Leadership, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to build and execute diversity and inclusion plans. B


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Diversity & Inclusion Insights and Analytics
  • Develop, Execute, Manage and Measure the Inclusion and Diversity Strategy and Initiatives organization-wide.
  • Integrate Inclusion & Diversity with Human Resource strategies, practices and processes at each stage of the Associate lifecycle.
  • Empower and Inspire Business Leaders to drive I&D initiatives in their area(s) of operation.
  • Partner with Training Department to develop and deliver I&D education to drive inclusion and belonging.
  • Leverage data to drive leader accountability and increase diverse talent mix within the company.
  • Analyze and report on diversity data and research trends to ensure best in class and innovative solutions are continuously integrated into inclusion programs and practices
  • Manage the HR Dashboard (I&D Components) and create an I&D Dashboard, including stakeholder adoption, benchmarking enhancements, and continuous improvements
  • Provide strategic insights on trends in I&D data, and collaborate with partners to test, assess, and take action on key findings
  • Communicate I&D goals and objectives at all levels of the organization: from Board of Directors through Associates
  • Provide strategic direction on external I&D survey participation and related benchmarking efforts. 
  • Identify, develop and build relationships with industry leaders, consultants & partners to apply best practices to help drive an inclusive culture.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Required; Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Leader with demonstrated experience leading transformative change in Large, Complex, Matrixed companies
  • Ability to leverages I&D as a key enabler of innovation, engagement and business growth
  • An Expert in the space of I&D, with a broader set of experiences including, but not limited to: Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development,  HR Consulting, Change Leadership, OD, Communications (internal/external) and/or Public Affairs
  • Comfort working in a highly collaborative culture, requiring high influence skills without direct resources/authority

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office.  Also requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry items that are less than 50 pounds.  Finger dexterity required in operating a computer keyboard and a calculator.  Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork, meeting with team members, vendors and partners and to receive/return phone messages.  Standing is required for filing and copying.
