The System Administrator should be thoroughly familiar with the functionalities of the Email client, Microsoft Teams and Mobile Devices. Their job includes support to end users over the telephone or any other interactive form of communication. They must be able to work 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM EST and participate in the weekend on-call rotation.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and update accounts in Active Directory, Office 365 and the B2B environment.
  • Responsible for provisioning support which includes ticket management, customer service and security permissions.
  • Support Microsoft Exchange/Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OWA, mobile and other messaging technologies
  • Responsible for OKTA user profile updates, creating new O365 app, updating IP blacklist and lockouts.
  • Provide MIR3 ongoing initiator training to meet the company's disater recovery needs.
  • Assist the MIR3 Administrator with server upgrades
  • Create, update and disable Box accounts
  • Assist with migration of data between other applications and the Box application
  • Support the Messaging Engineer on projects and changes
  • Monitor antivirus and endpoint security appliance ProofPoint
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with management to identify company training needs.
  • Schedule appropriate training sessions.
  • Prepare hard copy training materials such as videos, and presentations.
  • Train and mentor new team members.
  • Some travel to Division offices may be required.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or Certification Required
  • 3+ years related experience

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Messaging Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.


Additional Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge supporting Microsoft Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Outlook for Mac
  • Expert level of remote access technology (RDP, LogMeln, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory
  • Knowledge of mail filtering services (Postini, MXLogic, Symantec, ProofPoint) a plus
  • Arrive to work on time
  • Follow directions from a Supervisor
  • Work independently of daily supervision
  • Interact well with co-workers and associates at all company levels
  • Have a dedication to customer service and a quality work ethic
