Overview

Lennar Multifamily Communities (LMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lennar (NYSE:LEN), is a multifamily real estate development and operating company with a diverse portfolio of institutional quality multifamily rental communities across the US.  Between our completed developments and pipeline, LMC controls over 100 communities across the US that exceeds 33,000 homes and $12 Billion in development costs and consists of high-rise, mid-rise and garden apartments.



Responsibilities

Summary of Position:

Responsible for Treasury functions including cash and bank account management. Assists in daily wire transfers and any accounting related services required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setup users on banking platform administration
  • Initiate bank account setup, signature documentation and database maintenance
  • Prepare billings of bank service charges to each Business Unit
  • Create, monitor and update daily cash report for Sr. Management
  • Maintain a daily calendar of upcoming cash events to ensure timely payment of important obligations via wire transfers
  • Monitor the Wire Request email box for wire requests and approvals via DocuSign
  • Review and initiate internal and external transfers
  • Interact with various personnel throughout the organization on a daily basis
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and other projects as needed
  • Backup the LMC A/P team by setting up new Vendors, updating Vendors with changes when requested, and invoice entry
  • Review document history (test for double payments, coding inconsistencies, duplicate commitments, etc.)
  • Review/verify ABR documentation is accurate and signed
  • Verify vendor TIN number on the IRS website
  • Print check registers, prepare checks for mailing/FedEx and scan/save check run documentation to Box
  • Make deposits using desktop bank scanner, travel to off-site banks and scan/save reports of deposits on Box.com
  • Order/verify Treasury supplies (security envelopes, check stock, toner for check printer and bank account supplies)
  • Assist with and maintain current 1099 history on required vendors
  • Meet all required time schedules and month end deadlines


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Degree in finance, accounting or business management preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in treasury/cash management or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years public company experience preferred
  • Ability to fully understand and proficiently navigate bank websites for initiating electronic payments, and extract information in an efficient and timely manner
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time
  • Must possess professional attitude to represent company in a positive manner
  • Great work ethic and ability to work with a team
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Advanced PC skills with strong emphasis in Microsoft Office suite, DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Sage/Timberline and Timberscan or any other comparable systems a plus

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also, requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 20 pounds.  Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator.  Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.
