This position offers a pivotal opportunity for a dedicated individual to employ their extensive knowledge and understanding of governance principles to shape and uphold organizational standards, rules, and regulations. We require you to utilize your experience in governance and project management to develop, document, and maintain our governance policies and procedures. You will have the autonomy to innovate our governance strategy and ensure its flawless execution. In collaboration with teams across the organization, you will analyze and address gaps in adherence and efficiency.

You will foster deep relationships with internal teams and actively introduce and champion the proactive incorporation of governance principles into our daily operations. Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of governance policies and procedures.

  • Participate in compliance checks and audits, collaborating with relevant teams to address any concerns.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure understanding of governance requirements and to address any gaps in knowledge or practice.

  • Assist with risk assessment activities and collaborate on the formulation of mitigation strategies.

  • Participate in the review of governance strategies, ensuring they align with organizational standards, rules, and regulations.

  • Collaborate with teams to promote the incorporation of governance principles within daily operational practices.

  • Assist and support the broader compliance and governance team, emphasizing collaboration and shared learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and 1-3 years' experience in a project management or analyst function, or 2-5 years' experience.

  • A strong commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to obtain additional necessary certifications in support of the role.

  • Basic understanding of governance principles and practices.

  • Exposure to project management methodologies. 

  • Entry-level experience in a governance or compliance role. 

  • Willingness to learn and adapt.

  • General understanding of project management processes and standards (milestones, deliverables, artifacts, resource capacity, etc.)

  • Ability to review processes KPIs, identify out-of-compliance areas, and make recommendations

  • Collaboration across direct team members and immediate leadership
