Job Description



Responsible for assisting with the development of communities.  Support Land Development Managers with schedules, coordination and monitoring of all aspects of land development including site grading through completion of finished home sites and final municipal acceptance.  Position will demand initiative, daily interaction with Lennar Associates, municipalities, consultants and numerous trade partners, and the ability to make sound decisions in the field.  The position may also include coordination with project engineers to gain approvals of improvement plans, final plats and permits. #





  •  Assist Land Development Managers in all aspects of the development of community improvements and homesites in multiple communities
  • Support Land Development Mangers in managing and maintaining construction schedules and budgets
  • Support Land Development Managers in communicating with the development team about providing solutions to important day-to-day problems that may arise
  • Assist Land Development Managers in working with trade partners to minimize extra land development work orders
  • Frequent daily travel between job sites to coordinate all aspects of site development and address urgent issues
  • Be proactive in working with Land Development Mangers to resolve potential issues and to ensure adherence to community completion schedules and budgets
  • Assist Land Development Managers in approvals of all site development plans and project associated paperwork required to complete the communities
  • Responsible for assisting Land Development Managers with final acceptance by the governing agencies.  Required to coordinate preparation of punch lists, associated site walks, monitor execution of punch lists items to a timely completion and final acceptance by the governing agency
  • Possess working knowledge with the form, content and implementation of Air Quality Regulations, the State General Construction Permit, Construction Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans and Best Management Practices
  • Assist division with the implementation and updating of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
  • Ensure that the SWPPP and dust control plans are implemented within each of the division’s communities
  • Daily communication with all Lennar staff and construction teams
  • Perform all other duties as assigned 



  • Three (3) - five (5) years of experience in offsite construction related to Land Development
  • High school diploma or GED required; college credit related to engineering or construction preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of current environmental requirements
  • Ability to make proper decisions in the field, as well as monitor, troubleshoot, and address field issues
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Project a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accept constructive feedback
  • Team player


Requires the ability to work in excess of eight (8) hours a day if needed, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, work in outside elements, read plans, climb stairs, climb ladders, walk on uneven surfaces, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.  Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard & calculator.
