CAD Drafter Summary:

Production and maintenance of working drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CAD drafting to produce construction plans, plot plans, residential construction plans, model complex layouts and other documents.

  • Overlay as-built development drawings to foresee any needed changes.

  • Review civil and architectural construction documents.

  • Create drawing details and sections.

  • Review development and architectural codes and verify design compliance.

  • Maintain and adhere to established CAD standards and practices.

  • Maintain file management.

  • Work with various departments to provide support for the job-start and package development process.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • One (1) – three (3) years AutoCAD 2018 (or higher)

  • Work experience or course work in Revit prefered

  • College degree required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering Drafting/Design or related discipline)

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Pro/Bluebeam Revu

  • General understanding of topography and civil design drawing preferred

  • Perform accurate, consistent, and detail-oriented work with speed

  • Highly motivated

  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required

  • Follow directions from a supervisor

  • Interact well with co-workers

  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures

  • Accept constructive feedback

  • Work productively in both a solo and team setting

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from $23/hr-$34/hr, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials, and operational considerations.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $22.97 - $34, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
