Overview

This position assists in the administration of monthly escrow closings, New Homeowner Orientations and communicating with sales and construction associates regarding closings.



Responsibilities

This position will assist the Sales & Closing team by performing assigned duties within the following areas: 

Contract Administration:

  • Update closing recap for the week.
  • Review/sign Docusign envelopes.
  • Communicate with NHCs, Lennar Title, and Lennar Mortgage as needed.

Closing Administration:

  • Problem solves all escrow tracking and closing issues between all parties.
  • Track A/R fundings.
  • Prepare Home Warranty Enrollments monthly.
  • Prepare files for closing.
  • Work with appraisers who need comparables.
  • Review Mortgage Status Report weekly with management team.
  • Update Mortgage Status Report and Projected Closings Report with updated final walk and closing dates.
  • Distribute closing calendars/mortgage status to title company and mortgage company daily or as needed.
  • Review for accuracy, process and track all Buyer Standard or Special Option requests and ensure proper credit through escrow.
  • Monitor loan application progress/approvals with loan officers.
  • Prepare builder figures and send to title company and mortgage company as needed.
  • Prepare deeds for cash sales.
  • Review preliminary HUD statements.
  • Enter applicable dates into JDEdwards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Homebuilding experience preferred.
  • Computer literate with the ability to work with JD Edwards, Build Pro and Supply Pro, Excel and Word.
  • Requires the ability to work minimum of twenty four (24) per week, but no more than thirty two (30) hours per week while functioning under the stress of problem solving and time sensitive responsibilities.
  • Professionally perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Good writing and organization skills.
  • Possess strong work ethic, integrity and loyalty.
  • Team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
