Job Description

Overview

Provide administrative support to the operations department and field associates.  Coordinate the flow of departmental paperwork throughout the office and deliver to the field associates to ensure that all documents required to construct and warrant the company’s product is achieved in an efficient manner.



Responsibilities

  1. Support manager and department with administrative duties.
  2. Maintain community files for permits, purchase orders and various categories of construction information.
  3. Maintain and update Construction Manuals such as Safety Binders and CPP Binders.
  4. Liaison to Construction Managers. Responsible for procuring and distributing supplies, homesite, community and compliance signage, and any equipment for field offices.
  5. Prepare and distribute field office filing system (start package) for each new community and updating field homesite files for each new phase release.
  6. Coordinate Construction Department meetings when requested.
  7. Assist with all construction invoice inquires.
  8. Coordinate field office set-up and procure equipment and furnishings as well as assist with the take-down or moving of field offices.
  9. Work with the CTS Team to set-up internet services or the termination of services for field offices.
  10. Track indirect field expenses for porta potty/handwashing stations, generators, fencing, water meters, temp power, and Ready Fresh services.
  11. Procure and distribute Lennar apparel and PPE to field associates.
  12. Perform all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • One (1) - two (2) years’ experience in construction industry preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Detailed oriented, work well under pressure, capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Follow directions from a supervisor
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • Accept constructive feedback
  • Team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials, equipment and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
