Job Description


This positions objective is to:  develop and expand our online social presence by increasing engagement and followers; implement new ways to lower the cost per follower, per engagement, per session and per lead; boost social media leads; keep social media accounts current with industry trends and social media products and platforms; maintain a top 3 ranking for the Inland Divisions website audit ranking.

The position requires an ability to multi-task, cope under pressure, maintain good judgment, and be self-sufficient, dependable and eager to learn with a professional and supportive attitude. #CB



  1. Monitor and maintain the Inland Divisions social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, etc.
  2. Collaborate on social media strategy that boost engagement and new followers
  3. Communicate with our followers on a daily basis via witty and informative posts through Sprinklr
  4. Monitor Sprinklr daily for messages & approvals of Regional posts
  5. Respond to all social media inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  6. Assist in the planning, implementing and managing of weekly schedules for all social media content relative to our brand
  7. Facilitate creative content ideas and write copy that is consistent with our brand and incorporates SEO best practices
  8. Monitor social media forums and community platforms, trends, and tools to recommend strategic plans
  9. Regularly report insights gained from social media monitoring
  10. Maintain website (update renderings, floorplans, photography, videos, copy and all links)
  11. Request coming soon community info from Project Management at least 3 months prior to Grand Opening
  12. Update website with coming soon communities
  13. Write copy for new communities that incorporates SEO best practices for
  14. Resize photography for new communities on the website
  15. Weekly Site Improve maintenance (checks misspelling and broken links)
  16. Follow up with website assets
  17. Schedule and follow up on photography & videos needed for the website
  18. Follow up to make sure that the BDX feed is activated
  19. Maintain and manage all Obeo Virtual Tours
  20. Create weekly update report
  21. Responsible for maintaining and updating SEM (iCrossing) program
  22. Responsible for reviewing BrightEdge weekly dashboards and revising strategy accordingly

Monthly / Quarterly responsibilities:

  1. Create/update social media ads monthly
  2. Brainstorm and facilitate creative content ideas for The Open Door Blog monthly
  3. Prepare for Quarterly website audit
  4. Review Quarterly website audit results

Additional General Duties:

  1. Filing, faxing and emailing as needed
  2. Respond to emails on a daily basis
  3. Assist with Marketing projects as needed
  4. Special projects as needed
  5. Subscribe to competitors websites and sign up for interest in new communities.



  • College preferred, but not required
  • Minimum two to three years related work experience
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point)
  • Accurate typing-  65-70wpm
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude
  • Strong work ethic, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Motor Vehicle License – unrestricted
