Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director, Finance Technology is responsible for leading the strategy, optimization, and delivery of Lennar’s finance technology ecosystem. This role drives continuous improvement across finance systems and integrations to maximize operational performance, strengthen financial data integrity, and enhance the end-to-end finance user experience.
The Director, Finance Technology will partner closely with accounting, FP&A, treasury, shared services, IT, and business leaders to ensure finance platforms are aligned to enterprise priorities and capable of scaling with the organization. This leader will oversee the finance technology roadmap, manage system enhancements and releases, and ensure that finance applications, integrations, and workflows are optimized for accuracy, efficiency, and control.
This role serves as the primary bridge between finance and technology teams, ensuring that finance requirements are translated into scalable system solutions while maintaining strong governance, release discipline, and operational continuity across all finance platforms.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
Lead the strategy, roadmap, and optimization of Lennar’s finance technology ecosystem, including ERP, reporting, and workflow platforms.
Serve as the primary liaison between finance leadership and technology teams to align system capabilities with business needs and financial priorities.
Own and maintain the finance technology backlog, ensuring alignment between finance stakeholders and technology teams on priorities and delivery timelines.
Take an active role in release management, including planning, communication, testing, and validation of system updates, enhancements, and upgrades.
Develop a deep understanding of finance operational challenges and identify technology solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
Partner with finance leaders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Facilitate workshops and working sessions to define system needs, process improvements, and integration requirements.
Provide detailed functional and technical design recommendations to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions.
Define and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies, test cases, and validation processes.
Ensure finance systems and workflows support compliance, audit readiness, and internal control requirements.
Partner with IT and vendor teams to manage integrations across finance platforms and third-party applications.
Maintain flexible roadmaps that adapt to evolving finance priorities and enterprise initiatives.
Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Influence technology design decisions by providing finance subject matter expertise and highlighting risks.
Provide regular updates to executive leadership on roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure finance technology solutions drive measurable business value.

Your Toolbox
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field required.
10+ years of experience supporting finance systems, ERP platforms, or finance technology environments.
Strong understanding of finance processes including accounting, reporting, forecasting, and transactional operations.
Experience with enterprise finance platforms such as JDE, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
Demonstrated experience leading finance technology initiatives, system implementations, or optimization efforts.
Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and dependencies across finance applications.
Experience managing technology backlogs, roadmaps, and release cycles in partnership with IT teams.
Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps best practices.
Intermediate understanding of user experience (UX) and system design principles.
Strong facilitation and communication skills across multiple levels of leadership.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to connect processes across systems to drive efficiency.
Excellent decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
