Experienced professional with strong understanding of finance, capital structures, running financial models and communicating with capital groups. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Running real estate development and development scenarios through various financial models, including promote/waterfall structures  

  • Strong understanding of finance with the ability to anticipate the direction financial metrics will move with change in assumptions or inputs 

  • Ability to create unique financial summaries that are concise 

  • Preparation of investment recommendations 

  • Coordination with capital partners regarding deal flow. 

  • Preparation of investor and lender materials 

  • Pipeline management 

  • Communication internally both with divisions/regions and corporate on the status of capital programs. 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

 

  • Ten (10) years of experience with real estate financial modeling, capital structures and management of projects from either the capital or builder/developer side.  

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred emphasis in accounting, finance or real estate; CPA or MBA a plus 

  • Proficient with financial modeling in Microsoft Excel 

  • Strong communication and project/deal management skills 

 

Physical Requirements: 

 

This is primarily a sedentary office position, which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift and carry office supplies and materials of weights of 25 pounds or less.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.  Position may require the ability to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $152,274.10 - $183,671, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
  • This position may be eligible for bonuses.
  • This position may be eligible for commissions.
  • This position will be eligible for the described benefits listed in the above section in accordance with Company Policy.
