Job Description


Work independently in a dynamic environment and possess a thorough knowledge of Human Resources recruitment processes. The HR Coordinator acts as HR liaison to the Division Managers, Regional HR team, and Talent Acquisition Team for recruiting functions from the initial Open Job Requisition to the Offer Letter being extended to the candidate. Also works on special projects as assigned. 


  • Creates and track all Open Job Requisitions (OJRs) for replacement and newly created jobs.
  • Ensures there is a current Job Description (JD) attached to the OJR.  Verifies that the content in the JD is current and that the job is properly classified as non-exempt or exempt.
  • Takes the approved OJR and JD and ensures that the job is posted in a timely fashion on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Lennar Careers page, and any other job boards as applicable. Postings must be accurate, detailed and free from any grammatical or typographical errors.
  • Ensures that all the job postings are kept current by removing postings for jobs that have been filled and refreshing jobs that have been posted for a designated length of time.
  • Acts as Regional Point of Contact for status updates and questions on all open positions.
  • Follows up with candidates when they provide incomplete information on their pre-employment documentation. 
  • Creates all offer letters for new hires.
  • Generate and maintain various tracking reports for HR and Regional Leadership, including but not limited to time to fill reporting and reporting on how candidates are sourced.
  • Maintains JD folder on a shared drive and ensures all JDs are in the same format and up to date.
  • Coordinate the intern program and temps on staff.
  • Coordinate the New Hire Referral Bonus Program.
  • Initiate background checks, monitor background report status and verify employment and/or education as necessary.
  • Send NAO equipment ordering and confirmation templates to managers and candidates.
  • Process IS requests on Service Now Portal.
  • Prepare new hire packet and send on Thursday to managers and HR Liaisons.
  • Create New Hire DocuSign Packets each week.


  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in HR strongly preferred.
  • Minimum experience HR internship and strongly prefer at least 1 year in corporate working environment with a high volume recruitment function.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality (i.e. compensation, job offers, , promotions, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of payroll and benefits.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with strong work ethic.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Outlook. 
  • Experience with HR technology and systems required. Experience with Workday, and/or iCIMS is a plus.
  • Ability to respond to associate and candidate requests/questions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task and handle fast-paced work environment.



This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office.  Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 25 pounds.  Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator.  Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.  Standing is required for filing and copying.
