Responsibilities

Summary of Position:

The IT infrastructure Manager will be a working manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of the IT Operations excluding network and telecom services.  This includes the enterprise-wide 24x7x365 support of all production systems, applications, and request fulfillments.  Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient IT processes are maintained and followed to meet business objectives.  This position will report directly to the VP, Technology Services.  Minimal to no travel will be required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a direct team of engineers responsible for maintaining the uptime, reliability and quality of the IT Infrastructure.
  • Perform personnel management tasks including but not limited to recruiting, staff hiring, performance reviews, employee career development, etc.
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure IT systems and applications are monitored globally 24x7x365 and running optimally.
  • Ensure efficient processes and documentation exist to support internal systems and applications, including steps to diagnose & restore services, or escalate as needed.
  • Oversee the transition of systems & applications from Lennar IT into the LMC IT Operations framework, including the documentation of SLAs, maintenance windows, escalation procedures, etc.
  • Develop and maintain processes in alignment with ITIL guidelines.
  • Build & maintain an IT service catalog of supported applications and their SLAs.
  • Manage application lifecycles, including deployment, regular patch mgmt., upgrades, and sun-setting.
  • Oversee governance for Change Management, Configuration Management, Problem Management, Availability Management, Alert & Event Management, and Incident Management.
  • Maintain strong IT & Business Partner relationships, reviewing metrics and benchmarks, and aligning SLAs, priorities, and process improvements efforts.
  • Provide appropriate service-level reporting, including Availability, Incidents, SLAs, and other metrics as required.
  • Maintain appropriate IT service and continuity management plans that align with business tolerance.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

 Education and Experience Requirements:

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. Previous Multi-family or other relevant industry experience at an Enterprise level is preferred.
  • The following are highly desired certifications: ITIL v3 or higher, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Admin, AWS Certified Architect

  • Experience in Citrix Workspace is highly desired.

  • Knowledge of a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Adept at performing a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to remotely manage a team.
  • Experience supporting a decentralized company structure.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experienced in fast growing, changing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology, hardware and software, including but not limited to, HP Servers, Cisco Meraki, VMWare, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL and Amazon Web Services.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory required.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) required.
  • Experience with SolarWinds and BigFix is preferred.
  • Experience operating multiple colocations throughout the US as well as AWS Cloud Operations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices and standards.
