The Lead Data Analyst oversees the data analysis function, setting strategic direction, driving innovation, and managing a team of analysts. You will lead the development of the department's data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Drive innovation in data analysis practices, staying ahead of industry trends and technologies.
Serve as the primary liaison between the data analysis team and senior leadership.
Lead the development and execution of the department’s data strategy.
Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with business goals.
Lead initiatives to improve data infrastructure and processes across the organization.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Requirements
Extensive experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Expertise in managing enterprise-level data, including big data platforms and cloud data ecosystems (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
Proficient in designing and implementing data strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Mastery of SQL, with experience in database management, optimization, and complex ETL processes.
Expertise in Python or R for advanced analytics, including deep learning and AI, with experience in deploying models in production environments.
Expert in leading the development of enterprise-wide dashboards and reporting solutions, with an emphasis on user experience and actionable insights.
Proficiency in using advanced visualization libraries and tools for bespoke analytics solutions.
Expert in data architecture, including designing scalable data infrastructures that integrate multiple data sources (e.g., APIs, data lakes, and warehouses).
Proficient in leading data integration projects, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and best practices for data management.
Strong experience in leading teams, setting strategic direction, and driving data initiatives that align with business objectives.
Expertise in mentoring and developing data teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Keeps abreast of emerging trends in data science, AI, and big data technologies.
Proven ability to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing frameworks to enhance data capabilities.
Knowledge of common use cases (e.g., dynamic pricing, prediction, supply chain optimization)
2+ years experience leading data projects, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Extensive experience with Business Intelligence platforms (Power BI preferred) including experience in designing enterprise data sets and dashboards and leading governance processes.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
