*This role is currently remote but selected candidate must be located near one of our many offices in the United States, and may be required to report to an office some of the time.*

Lennar is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and motivated change management and communications leader. This role is critical to the goal of establishing methods and ensuring adoption of workforce change, including preparing and supporting impacted individuals, establishing the necessary drivers and steps for change, and monitoring pre- and post-change activities to ensure successful implementation, while simultaneously driving effective, engaging, and timely communications, meetings, and events. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: supervision of the IT Communications team, department meeting planning and calendar – Town Hall meetings, leadership offsite, IT event coordination, and Change Management Training.


  • Provide leadership to implement tools and communication campaigns that align and motivate our workforce around key themes.
  • Develop and mentor direct report(s) to increase leadership, consulting, technical and customer service skills.
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate communications campaigns that utilize a variety of channels to engage the end-user.
  • Ensure that all content is the highest quality, creative and compelling, and aligned and integrated with the appropriate Department messages.
  • Evaluate, report on, and improve effectiveness of communication strategy.
  • Contribute communication strategy to the change management plan or document activities in a separate communication plan.
  • Support coordination and delivery of communications events, such as technical guest speakers and management presentations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical leads to identify key messages, benefits, and end-user impacts.
  • Calibrate with Associate and Executive communications to deliver cohesive messaging.
  • Create clear communications and messaging that leverage the standard platforms.
  • Create content for print, electronic, audio, face-to-face and video distribution.
  • Create elevator pitches, talking points, and Frequently Asked Questions, etc.
  • Ensure messaging and calendar alignment across IT projects/teams.
  • Identify and remediate existing information that may conflict with new messaging.
  • Edit and organize content for newsletters.
  • Support hands-on production of final deliverables to ensure consistency and reinforce values to strengthen our technology vision.
  • Assist training and support teams by contributing and reviewing training materials, knowledge base articles, outage notifications, etc.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
  • 7+ years communications experience supporting IT, digital, or change management
  • Hands on experience in program and/or business communication
  • Some experience in business/industry (beyond IT), managing cross-functional teams or projects; and influencing management and key stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skill explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Demonstrated experience presenting and managing questions with large groups
  • Strong ability to source, develop, and draft a wide range of communications materials - including blog posts, narratives, and video scripts
  • Proven organizational and project management skills; Ability to manage programs from concept to completion flawlessly, working with internal teams and external vendors
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Strong operational rigor and self-discipline
  • Comfort working at a fast pace and with ambiguity
  • Self-motivated and highly collaborative

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Manager, Communications to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
