Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:  

 

This position requires assisting the Marketing Manager with implementation of advertising plans and marketing strategies. The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, to be able to cope well under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn, and a professional, supportive attitude.



Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Request all work orders and monitor changes.
  2. Request and coordinate quotes with 3rd party vendors.
  3. Monitor ad placement on media schedules.
  4. Schedule and maintain social media sites.
  5. Review/proof new art layouts and copy.
  6. Monitor the consistency of information listed on websites, ads, PR, directories, etc.
  7. Make sure vendors arrive on time and to appropriate location, provide update to manager.
  8. Remain focused on all opportunities for further cost reductions.
  9. Assist with research opportunities.
  10. Maintain listings on various channels.
  11. Attend grand opening events.
  12. Pull reports from CRM, as necessary.
  13. Assist with merchandising and community set-up.
  14. Perform all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two (2) years of marketing experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must possess initiative and be highly motivated
  • Basic skills inMicrosoft Excel and Word on Mac or PC platforms
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule
  • Related work experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Follow directions from a supervisor
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
  • Accept constructive feedback
  • Team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Position requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
