Marketing Coordinator Summary:

This position requires assisting the Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of marketing strategies and marketing collateral. The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, ability to cope under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn and a professional, supportive attitude.



Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office set ups for new communities, community roll out meetings, and any other projects as needed.
  • Coordinate ordering and installation of models with Marketing Manager, Regional Merchandising teams, Construction and other vendors.
  • Assist with WHC and model home furniture replacements, move overs, storage and consignment.
  • Visit communities on a monthly basis to check on models, signage, inventory homes, and NHC needs.
  • Manage maintenance subcontractors and suppliers for model home complex maintenance.
  • Facilitate the creation and order community signage as needed; including pricing, design and production time. Act as a liaison between construction and sales department in ordering construction signage, homesite signs, model signage, etc.
  • Coordinate vendor invoices for processing and payment with Accounting.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing related meetings with vendors, ad agencies, or construction.
  • Coordinate, execute and attend a variety of functions including community openings, community events, and realtor events.
  • Coordinate the divisions’ participation at trade show/housing shows if applicable.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.




Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in marketing required
  • Minimum 2 years in homebuilding industry preferred
  • Related work expierence in Interior Design preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational, project manage and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude, deal effectively with confrontational situations and maintain objectivity with homeowners, fellow associates, and in all public relations
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
  • General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
  • Follow directions from a supervisor
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Accept constructive feedback

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Position requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 50 pounds or less.  Occasionally work in outside elements, including walking on uneven surfaces. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
