This role involves mentoring, training, and supervising Construction Managers and Assistant Construction Managers, ensuring adherence to company policies and construction process progress.

Your Responsibilities on the Team- Manage the overall schedule of the project. Forecast short term and long-term schedules to the field team, trade partners and owner. Work with trade partners to identify field issues and create solutions to make sure the project is on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with City or County requirements and building codes.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with customers and oversee the construction, inspection, and scheduling of homes.
- Maintain records of all change orders and purchase orders in the community.
- Approve trade partner invoices upon satisfactory job completion.
- Inspect homes under construction to ensure work meets specifications and achieve timely completion and deliveries.
- Frequently inspect homes for quality compliance and advise Construction Managers on performance.
- Coordinate with municipality inspectors for timely approvals of development phases.
- Communicate with trade partners and Lennar associates, both verbally and in writing.
- Redline architectural plan changes.
- Supervise and manage all aspects of construction for assigned communities.
- Oversee Construction Managers and Assistant Construction Managers, conducting weekly field/safety meetings.
- Ensure that there is successful hand off between the rough in and finishes phase of each building.
- Identify potential lead time issues with trade partners and create strategies to ensure on time deliveries of all materials.
- Host weekly meetings between the trade partner foreman on site.
- Coordinate overall site logistics for all trade partners and staff on site including but not limited to lay down areas, temporary facilities, trailers and trade partner equipment.
- Create phased construction plans with the Area Construction Manager and Director of Construction. Execute and enforce the strategy with trade partners on site.
- Review and provide feedback with trade partners during the contracting stage of the project.
Your Toolbox- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in project/construction management in multi-family construction required.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience supervising preferred.
- Class B license preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of multifamily trades, ability to analyze construction documents, and ability to read blueprints.
- Intermediate knowledge of scheduling, budgeting and document management.
- Computer literacy in MS Office products (Word and Excel).
- Expertise in BuildPro, Hyphen, and Procore is preferred.
- Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Knowledge of practices and procedures of construction and building codes.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:Requires the ability to work in excess of 8 hours per day in a confined quarter of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally operate construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:
We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $69,266.40 - $110,314, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
