The National Manager, Purchasing Contract Administration will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the National Purchasing Contract workflow processes, from contract preparation, maintenance, Insurance and compliance management.  This Associate will collaborate closely with various departments, including Finance, General Counsel, Risk Management, Suppliers, and the National Purchasing team to ensure effective contract administration and compliance.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Plan, manage, and administer the National Purchasing contract workflow processes.
  • Prepare contracts and work with National Purchasing Category Managers and other National Purchasing Associates to solidify terms and conditions of Lennar’s agreements with Trade Partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and streamline processes.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including the renewal, extension, or termination of agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation supporting bid events, and the subsequent creation of bid summary sheets.
  • National Purchasing “Point” leader to work with internal audit with remediation testing.
  • Serve as an expert in contract processes and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Obtain and review certificates of insurance (COIs) for National Trade Partners to ensure compliance.
  • Verify insurance coverage meets contract requirements and company standards.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal Stakeholders to address any insurance-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain supplier files, including contact information, contracts, price lists, etc.
  • Assist with the setup of National Trade Partners in ERP system, as requested by National Purchasing, Regional Teams, or Local Divisions.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support National Purchasing team, Regions, and Divisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, is preferred.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience, with strong contract administration, negotiation, and compliance management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently an prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using programs such as Box, DocuSign, and SharePoint preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract and insurance terminology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment.  May operate a motor vehicle.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $102,781.00 - $132,333, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
