The National Plans Manager at Lennar will support the National Product Development Manager in aligning core plans with divisional needs and national standards and ensure that all project timelines and requirements are met in a timely manner. The manager will work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure smooth development and execution of product plans.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Oversee and optimize the plan library and National SharePoint site, ensuring project documents are continuously updated, accessible, and aligned with business needs.

  • Ensure all core plans align with division needs and national standards, driving consistency and operational excellence.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and outsourced Architecture & Engineering firms, proactively managing project status and ensuring seamless execution.

  • Manage and validate plan status trackers, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and real-time visibility for key stakeholders.

  • Manage project events and cadence, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and deliverables while mitigating risks.

  • Manage and conduct in-depth reviews and redlining of plans, ensuring alignment with quality control processes, divisional needs, and compliance guidelines.

  • Drive collaboration with the marketing team, providing strategic insights to enhance project execution and brand consistency.

  • Oversee drafting processes when needed, ensuring adherence to project objectives and technical requirements.

  • Drive the development and standardization of specifications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.

Requirements 

  • Undergraduate degree or professional certification in Drafting or a related field.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a project coordination or related role.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams, including external partners.

  • Strong judgment and initiative to address unusual circumstances and make decisions independently.

  • Project management, plan reading and construction knowledge preferred.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
