The Network/Telecom Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of network infrastructure and telephony solutions. They are accountable for maintaining the network/telephony hardware and application infrastructure for Lennar on a day-to-day basis.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the technological objectives of the organization.
  • Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Direct and evaluate all departmental activities including research, design and development of new technologies with service level determination.
  • Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Measure, monitor, and maintain team’s ability to meet or exceed contact and resolution Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Initiates, develops, maintains, coordinates, and enforces systems policies, and procedures.
  • Provide project deliverables by meeting or exceeding defined initiative expectations.
  • Create and maintain network and telephony documentation.
  • Act as Incident Management lead during network/telephony outages.
  • Drive architectural improvements and standardization for the network and telephony infrastructure environments, including: hardware, monitoring software and associated applications.
  • Other job duties as assigned.


Education and Experience Required

  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or certification required

  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  • Ability to defuse tension among team, should it arise.
  • Ability to bring project to successful completion through organizational dynamics.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
