The Project Coordinator provides coordination and support of IT technical deliveries with focus on Architecture and Integration teams. This role will also provide some site and office admin support specific to our Sawgrass/Sunrise, Florida office. The coordinator interfaces with a wide range of Lennar associates from administrative to management and maintains documentation and reporting for assigned projects including set up, organizing, planning, requirements, analysis, assessment and delivery risks.


  • Direct Support and Coordination of I.T. projects to include, but not limited to:
    • Set up, organization, notes/minutes and coordination of Architecture and Integration meetings.
    • Monitor and solicit proper status on projects and initiatives.
    • Track deliverables as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Work closely with I.T. Directors, Managers and staff to keep updated with current technology goals and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Divisions as well as outside vendors and contractors.
  • Maintain professional, organized individual Project Folders and plans for all projects, which may include notes/minutes, assigned tasks, outcomes, etc…
  • Initiate and maintain an open line of communication between all teams and downstream impacted department for all project needs.
  • Complete weekly, sometimes daily, Project Status Reports or updates on all projects as requested.
  • Keep I.T. Calendar updated with relevant schedules.
  • Assist with I.T. department open ticket items when necessary.
  • Provide onboarding support within Architecture and Integration teams along with Sawgrass office site.
  • Work with IT Technology Services teams as needed for technical support of Sawgrass office site.
  • Office administrator for Sawgrass office site.
  • Perform special assignments as requested by Manager.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years direct work experience in a supporting project management capacity, including aspects of process development and execution
  • Bachelor’s degree would be a plus
  • Certifications in Project Management preferred or working towards PMP


Technical Skills

  • Intermediate technical proficiency in assigned area

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to physically work in our Sawgrass/Sunrise Office location
  • Strong familiarity with PM software, such as Microsoft Project.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office 365.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize current word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and Internet software.
  • Experience with process and industry methodologies for Project Management
  • Ability to interpret technical procedures to customers and other non-technical associates.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Information Systems department associates and customer representatives.
  • Reasonable knowledge of current hardware and software technologies and uses in telecommunications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Flexible during times of change.
  • Customer service focus and skills an asset.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Physical Requirements: This is a position which requires frequent walking, standing and climbing of stairs in/around homes, models and properties. Must also have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
