As well as oversee and coordinate land closings. - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Bachelors degree required. - Valid Drivers license and a good driving record required. - Minimum 3 years in the homebuilding industry, preferably in land acquisition. - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents. - Excellent written, oral, organizational and math skills. - Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner. - Ability to perform, in a professional manner, multiple detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines. - Computer literate with ability to work with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of CAD and  scheduling systems a plus. Contacts Daily communication with Management, Associates and other outside entities. External contacts where the matters discussed require some resourcefulness, patience and clarity.   Physical Requirements This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry materials and supplies weighing 25 lbs or less. Finger dexterity is necessary. Required to operate motor vehicle. Travel required. Learn new skills, build your path, and become an integral part of the Lennar Family.   When You Join: - Health Insurance - Medical, Dental & Vision - Vacation – 3 weeks of vacation per year to start - Holidays, Sick Leave, & Personal Days - 401(k) Savings Plan with company match - Paid Maternity & Bonding Leave - New Hire Referral Bonus Program - Product Purchase Discount for Associates - Associate Assistance Plan - Everyone’s Included Day - In the spirit of inclusion, diversity, and caring for our community, Lennar encourages our Associates to take a day to connect, reflect and inspire those around us, in a way that is uniquely important to you.  - And More!   Lennar is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.   #LI-DT1 #CB - Ensure that all due diligence work is completed prior to expiration of investigation period. - Draft Corporate Investment Committee presentation and reports to obtain land acquisition approval. - Create, review and maintain record of pertinent documentation in the Company’s system. - Responsible for evaluating acquisition risks and developing strategies to resolve problems and conflicts. - Prepare and coordinate requests with internal departments and external consultants. - Plan, direct, and manage the due diligence and entitlement process. - Maintain budgets and manage entitlement/closing schedule. - Perform financial underwriting and market analysis. - Assist with and manage acquisition contracts, proposals and other documents required for vendors regarding acquisition of property. - Liaison between, consultants, governing agencies, and other individuals and agencies relating to the land acquisition. - Receive invoices from sub-contractors/vendors, review, and direct them to proper party for approval and payment. - Data entry of acquisition invoices to update budgets. - Organize both the materials and workflow in the department to facilitate the completion of required tasks. - Network with other builders and developers to maintain market awareness; develop contacts to become a strong competitor in Division’s market area. - Assist Director of Entitlements and Division management with updating reports for each acquisition within the region. - Contact and meet with developers and land sellers and regularly update the tracking reports. - Research approvals/permits, zoning, engineering plans, improvement estimates, off-site improvements/contributions, soils/geology, wetlands, utilities, affordable housing component/contribution, and building costs. - Assist with special projects or other tasks as assigned and as required by the workload of the team.
