As well as oversee site contractors, schedule utilities and coordinate governmental inspections so home sites are delivered on time and within budget.   - Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. - Bachelors degree preferred. - Valid Drivers license and a good driving record required. - Minimum 3 years in land development. - Must be able to read, understand and evaluate civil engineering / development plans. - Excellent written, oral, organizational and math skills. - Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner. - Ability to perform, in a professional manner, multiple detail oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines. - Computer literate with ability to work with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of CAD and Build Pro scheduling systems a plus. - Minimum two years vertical construction knowledge and scheduling.   Contacts Daily communication with Management, Associates and other outside entities. External contacts where the matters discussed require some resourcefulness, patience and clarity.   Physical Requirements Able to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which, occasionally operate construction equipment. Able to sit at a computer monitor for extended periods of time to complete paperwork, meet with trade partners, and receive/return phone messages.  Must be able to work in construction environment under all weather conditions. Lennar is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws. #CB #LI-RR1   - Review and evaluate development plans for all new communities as well as existing communities, as required - Assist with and manage development contracts, proposals and other documents required for vendors regarding development of property. - Oversee construction of on-site amenities including pool/cabana’s, guard houses, entry gates and walls, gates, etc. - Liaison between sub-contractors, consultants, governing agencies, utility company’s and other individuals and agencies relating to the land acquisition and development department. - Receive invoices from sub-contractors/vendors and direct them to proper party for approval and payment. - Data entry of development invoices to update development budgets. - Request development bonds when required and monitor their releases with municipalities. - Receive all documents for the department to include documentation for on- going projects and properties under due diligence. - Establish and control land and development department filing systems to include plans and plats. - Organize both the materials and workflow in the department to facilitate the completion of required tasks. - Provide internal customer service. - Responsible for Bond maintenance. - Responsible for the successful delivery of new projects through use of construction schedules, contract documents, land development budgets, environmental studies, geotechnical reports, engineering and architectural construction plans and permit compliance reports. - Development/Entitlement budgeting. - Responsible for SWPPP management and compliance. - Network with other builders and developers to maintain market awareness; develop contacts to become a strong competitor in Division’s market area. - Assist VP of Land with updating pipeline reports for each county within the region. - Contact and meet with developers and land sellers upon manager’s request and regularly update the land pipeline tracking reports. - Research approvals/permits, zoning, engineering plans, improvement estimates, off-site improvements/contributions, soils/geology, wetlands, utilities, affordable housing component/contribution, and building costs.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $1.00 - $100,000, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
