The Sr Loan Processor at Lennar performs functions associated with Conventional, FHA and VA loan processing. Duties to include communicating with, and gathering documentation from, customers and reviewing income, credit, assets appraisal, and title work for accuracy and completeness. Requires consistent communication with customers, Lennar associates and other departments.

Process loan applications promptly and aim to secure loan approvals within 30 days of application submission.
Reconcile accounting records to ensure all fees are collected in a timely manner.
Ensure closed loan documentation meets Secondary Marketing standards through thorough follow-up.
Maintain professional and courteous communication with New Home Consultants, borrowers, and associates.
Manage a loan pipeline emphasizing customer service, accuracy, efficiency, and knowledge of loan programs.
Gather and submit credit reports and application documentation promptly for loan approval.
Update processing software system with accurate loan information, communicate status updates as needed, and follow closing procedures diligently.
Requirements
2+ years' experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Attention to detail
Excellent customer service (internal and external) and organization skills
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Current knowledge of closing and title requirements
Current knowledge of loan processing and automated underwriting
Current knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA and industry underwriting guidelines and ability to navigate program guides to obtain necessary information as needed
Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
