The Senior Collaboration Engineer is responsible for the planning, implementation, administration, and support of diverse enterprise collaboration platforms, which serve over 17,000 geographically distributed endpoints (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and other devices).

This role combines advanced systems engineering expertise with deep knowledge of collaboration tools to ensure seamless communication, security, and productivity for the enterprise. The Senior Collaboration Engineer will serve as a technical leader, mentor, and subject matter expert for collaboration services.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Lead the deployment, management, support, and optimize enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Purview, Microsoft Exchange Online, AirMedia, AirTable, Slack, Zoom, Box, ChatGPT Enterprise, and other collaboration tools.

  • Apply advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments to resolve complex technical challenges.

  • Provide day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Ensure high availability, performance, compliance, and security of collaboration systems.

  • Lead integration projects with IT and other business units to streamline communication and collaboration workflows.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and best practices.

  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users for effective use of collaboration tools.

  • Coordinate with network engineering, application teams, and other stakeholders to design and implement systems aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Translate business needs into technical solutions, employing creativity and industry best practices.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and technical staff on collaboration and systems engineering best practices.

  • Serve as a key technical resource for project planning, integrations, and troubleshooting escalations.

  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance collaboration, productivity, and endpoint management capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, enterprise environments, and collaboration platform administration.

  • Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 environments, including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange Online, Slack, AirMedia, Zoom, Box, AirTable and ChatGPT Enterprise.

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, MCSA - Azure Administration, MCSE, MCSA, AWS Cloud Administration, MCSE are a plus.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external vendors.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • High level of professionalism, exhibiting thoroughness and follow-up with vendors, contractors, associates, VIPs, and Executives.

  • Able to work on multiple projects/tasks at once and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment under pressure and possess organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

  • Some travel may be required for conferences and vendor meetings.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at the Lennar office during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
