The Technical Analyst II will play a strategic and critical role within Lennar’s IT organization in the creation and implementation of standards and processes to ensure quality and efficiency in the areas of technical documentation, technical testing, release management, and systems support.  Top candidates will bring strengths in process creation/optimization, governance, strategic planning, and organization.  Candidates should be prepared to help implement best practices, lead standard processes, and bring leadership and communication to their agile project teams!

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Define, implement, and manage processes for translating business requirements into technical design documentation.

  • Act as a liaison and guide the business and development team towards project execution and resolution.

  • Take technical solutions and create technical documentation (process flows, specifications, development tasks) and create an execution plan/timeline (tasks, resources, timeline).

  • Follow the software development project life cycle and assist with each phase

  • While working in a fast-paced environment, assist in creating a team environment and assist in creating/carrying the team culture.

  • Proficiency in relevant tools and software for technical analysis, data analysis, and project management such as Microsoft Office Products, PowerBI, JIRA, ServiceNow, etc. Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

  •  Project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.

  •  Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  •  Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  •  Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or higher in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  •  2-5 years of hands-on experience in Business Analysis, Technical Analysis, Data Analysis, Project Management, or a comparable role within a technology organization

  • Moderate experience/knowledge of the following:

    • Data Analytics

    • PowerBI

    • SQL

    • Python

    • SnapLogic

    • Cyber Security & Security Best Practices

    • .net

    • Java

    • React

    • Cloud Infrastructure – GCP/AWS

    • SAP/ERP

    • Rest APIs

    • SFTP

    • MQTT

Additional Requirements

  • Strong quantitative and analytical foundation with the ability to translate data into actionable and relevant insights.

  •  High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.

  •  Strong oral, written, listening and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in business terms using simple, concise, and relatable examples.

  •  Ability to successfully engage and establish cooperative working relationships with Associates at various lines of business.

  •  Display a nimble mind that can adapt thinking based on new points of view and/or changes in operating environments - an inability to be flexible can result in missed revenue opportunities.

  •  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously delegate work and provide leadership across functions.

  •  Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.

  • 2+ years of experience:

    • in writing functional and technical documentation

    • in a technical analytical role, in a developer role and/or business analytical role (with technical learning background)

    • with Agile Project Management and Scrum Teams

    • working within a software development team

    • with reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)

    • Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Visio)

    • With Software Development Life Cycle

    • With agile methodologies

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
