The Lead Engineer will be responsible for the overall analysis, architecture, design, implementation, and support of Oracle EPM cloud module technology solutions with a primary focus on Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) and Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM). This role will combine deep functional knowledge with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in Oracle EPM Cloud modules working closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality EPM solutions within Lennar Corporation.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle FCCS and EPCM solutions.

  • Serve as the primary technical SME for FCCS consolidations, ownership management, intercompany eliminations, journals, and close processes.

  • Serve as the primary technical SME for EPCM including cost allocation, profitability modeling, drivers, and rule optimization.

  • Define best practices, standards, and governance for EPM development and deployments.

  • Design and build -

    • Metadata (Accounts, Entities, Dimensions, Hierarchies)

    • Business rules (Calc Manager)

    • Data Management integrations (Data Integration / FDMEE)

    • Reports and dashboards (Financial Reporting, Smart View)

  • Optimize FCCS and EPCM performance, calculation efficiency, and data volumes.

  • Support enhancements, patches, monthly close cycles, and production issues.

  • Design and manage integrations between ERP systems (Oracle / non-Oracle) and FCCS/EPCM.

  • Automate data loads, validations, reconciliations, and close processes.

  • Support data governance, auditability, and controls.

  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Finance Transformation, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Support vendor and SI partners during implementation or enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience with Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM solutions.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS implementations and Oracle EPCM Implementations.

  • Strong hands-on experience with EPCM (cost allocations, profitability models).

  • Expertise in FCCS consolidation logic, eliminations, ownership, journals

  • Expertise in EPCM allocation rules, drivers, and modeling techniques

  • Strong hands-on experience in Calc Manager, Data Integration, Smart View

  • Experience supporting month-end and quarter-end close cycles.

  • Strong SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. 10-20% of travel is required.
