Your Responsibilities on the Team
Build digital, virtual, and blended learning assets from approved training outlines.
Translate business strategies and learner insights into inclusive training outlines and design blueprints aligned to measurable outcomes.
Use AI responsibly to ideate, outline, draft, transform, design and develop quality content.
Leverage AI agents, automation tools, and prompt‑engineering techniques to enhance authoring workflows, ensuring inputs are well‑structured and outputs are accurate, high‑quality, and ready for use.
Apply accessibility and inclusion standards to all deliverables.
Design and build a wide range of learning assets including eLearnings, instructor-led trainings (virtual and in-person), blended experiences, simulations, videos, assessments, practice activities, performance support tools, and job aids aligned to measurable outcomes.
Ensure all learning materials reflect organizational branding, tone, and UX standards across modalities.
Conduct learner testing, analyze feedback and data, and iterate designs for continuous improvement.
Design, configure, and maintain reusable learning structures and tools that increase scalability, streamline development, and support long term sustainment of learning assets across the organization.
Build professional relationships with key business stakeholders. Ensure interactions are polished, respectful, and uphold integrity to foster trust and collaboration.
Incorporate legal, regulatory, and safety requirements into content development; collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams as needed.
Conduct thorough QA checks on all deliverables before deployment to ensure accuracy, functionality, accessibility, and learner experience quality.
Requirements
3+ years in instructional design, learning experience design, or related field.
Proficiency in authoring tools, media development, and collaboration platforms, including functional use of AI-assisted workflows.
Strong writing and visual communication skills; ability to facilitate review sessions effectively with stakeholders.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA) and learning evaluation models.
Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia development tools (Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, graphic design tools).
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Instructional Designer to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
