Responsibilities
Government Insuring Technician
Essential Responsibilities
- The Government Insuring Technician is responsible for the audit of FHA, VA and USDA loans for submission to the appropriate government agency for insurance or guaranty.
- Prepares FHA/VA/USDA loans for submission upon request and monitors endorsements.
- Review and submission of the FHA UFMIP, VA Funding Fee and USDA guarantee fee.
- This position communicates with various departments for missing documents or rejected case binder items and corresponds with all investors when needed.
- Investigate and solve issues preventing insuring.
- Must maintain required timeframes regarding FHA, VA and USDA insuring, as outlined by Manager.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Candidates must be highly organized and process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- This position requires efficient handling of time sensitive products, clearance of errors, omissions, and deficiencies.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the company and investors.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook a must.
