The Manager, Communications is responsible for developing and executing strategic internal and external communication initiatives that align with Lennar’s business objectives and company culture. This role will lead key communication programs, manage content creation, oversee branding consistency, and collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders across divisions. The Manager will also play a critical role in crisis communications, employee engagement strategies, and executive messaging. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, this position will manage communication workflows and drive innovation in corporate storytelling and brand positioning.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive communication strategies that enhance engagement and company-wide alignment.

  • Lead content creation for intranet, newsletters, executive messaging, videos, speeches, and presentations to ensure clear, impactful communication.

  • Manage and evolve the company's internal brand voice and messaging, ensuring consistency across all platforms.

  • Support and advise executive leadership in crafting communications that reinforce corporate goals and values.

  • Drive employee engagement efforts through storytelling, strategic messaging, and interactive content.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with corporate teams, field leadership, and external partners to ensure seamless communication execution.

  • Manage communication projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and branding standards.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, advising on internal and external communication best practices.

  • Oversee internal events and campaigns to boost Associate engagement and company culture initiatives.

  • Supervise and mentor communications team members as needed.

  • Analyze communication effectiveness through metrics, feedback, and reporting, providing insights for continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to and maintain the corporate communications calendar, ensuring timely and strategic messaging.

Your Toolbox 

  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; Master’s degree in related discipline is a plus.

  • Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale communication programs, driving engagement, and advising senior executives.

  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.

  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, project management tools (e.g., Asana), and communication platforms (e.g., ServiceNow Employee Center Pro).

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
