The Product Manager will be responsible for the development, execution, and management of product strategies that align with business objectives. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, gathering and analyzing market and customer feedback, and delivering product roadmaps that drive growth and user satisfaction. Your Responsibilities on the Team 

Product Development and Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver product features on time and within scope.

  • Define product vision, strategy, and metrics for success, ensuring that the product delivers value to customers.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive products.

  • Analyze customer feedback, data, and industry insights to inform product decisions and prioritize features.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Communicate product requirements and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, developers, and other departments.

  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and effective product development processes.

Product Documentation:

  • Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, product specs, and release notes.

  • Ensure that all product information is current and accessible to relevant teams.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering feedback and analyzing metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and implement strategies for ongoing product optimization and enhancement.

Support Product Launches:

  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, working closely with marketing, sales, and other departments.

  • Ensure that all teams are prepared for the release of new product features and that launch activities are well-coordinated.

Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with customers to gather insights and feedback on existing products and potential new features.

  • Support customer training and onboarding efforts as necessary.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Product Management Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of product management principles, including product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and product strategy.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver successful products.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems.

  • Experience in conducting market research and using insights to drive product strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, generate solutions, and make decisions that align with business objectives.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.

Agile Methodologies:

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum practices, including leading or participating in scrum ceremonies.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Experience conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product decisions.

Technical Aptitude:

  • Solid understanding of software development processes and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.

Technical Tools and Data Analysis:

  • Proficiency with product management and data analysis tools, such as Jira, Trello, Google Analytics, or SQL.

  • Familiarity with wireframing and process mapping tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or Balsamiq.

Product Launch Experience:

  • Experience leading product launch activities, including go-to-market strategies and cross-departmental coordination.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the industry in which the company operates, with insight into industry trends and customer needs.

Requirements

Years of Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or a related field.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Certification:

  • Certifications in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, AIPMM Certified Product Manager) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) are advantageous.
