As a Hyperion QA Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Hyperion/EPM platform. You will oversee the work of QA testers in designing, implementing, and executing test plans, strategies, and scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of Oracle Hyperion applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and resolving issues, maintaining testing documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and exceed user expectations.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on business requirements and user stories.

  • Execute test cases manually and automate where applicable to ensure thorough coverage of all functionalities.

  • Identify, prioritize, and report software defects, ensuring they are tracked to resolution.

  •  Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.

  • Maintain testing documentation including test cases, test scripts, and testing reports.

  • Functional testing, Load or performance testing, Integration testing and regression testing related to Hyperion Essbase and Planning.

  • Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing Hyperion applications.

  • Strong understanding of Hyperion platform fundamentals, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.

  • Knowledge in Oracle Hyperion Application’s – On Prem or EPM cloud modules – PBCS, Essbase.

  • Experience in SmartView Retrieve and analysis.

  • Strong experience in testing, real-time data integration, process orchestration

  • Experience or knowledge in developing test cases by using Junit/TestNG/Selenium.

  • Automation with tools such as such Eclipse, Java, REST-based framework, API

  • Experience in Hyperion Load Test Modules.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. 10-20% of travel is required.
