The Senior Data Business Systems Analyst will help drive delivery of key initiatives being managed by the Lennar Technology Solutions (LTS) Business Intelligence Program. The Sr. Data BSA may be assigned to new or in-progress projects, in order to assist with the tasks required to deliver BI products within the BI Portfolio. This position requires extensive knowledge of data structures, including but not limited to data profiling, mapping, relationships, and logic design. The Senior Data Business Systems Analyst will work closely with multiple Project Managers, Solution Architects, Customer Engagement, Developers, QA and the Release team across varying products and project types.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Serve as the bridge between Solution team and Build team to ensure timely, accurate, and functional delivery of demand BI products. This includes,
Analyzing and documenting current data capturing, transformation, and presentation processes, by eliciting input from Data Source experts on the business, finance, and technology teams, as well as the BI Group.
Understanding business needs and leading thoughtful design and build discussions around meeting those business needs with business users, developers, and data architects.
Developing and maintaining detailed functional specifications, based on requirements gathered from the business.
Reviewing data elements and systems to evaluate current-state and provide insights and gap analyses for future state as related to current projects.
Identifying and reporting on issues surrounding data quality and accuracy, including recommendations for remediation of such issues.
Determining how solutions will impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration of new data processes or BI tool functionality.
Creating support documentation for BI product rollouts, including metadata maintenance files and runtime documents.
Working closely with Project Managers, Developers, Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams as required to deliver solutions following Agile methodologies.
Mentoring/supervising less experienced analysts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required in related field.
Must have 6-10 years of recent experience as technical Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in a technology environment, specifically working with data analysis, discovery and profiling, and source to target mappings.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Senior Data Business Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
Additional Requirements:
Must have deep knowledge of data warehousing.
Must have intermediate SQL skills.
Must have knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Must have knowledge around data modeling, data extraction and data lakes. Must have exposure to modeling tools like ERwin or ER Studio, as well as extract and translation tools (such as Informatica).
Must have excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point & Visio; SharePoint, Box or other document sharing products.
Must have experience presenting at an Executive level.
Very strong analytical skills.
Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users.
